Hypnosis is about getting the subject to play make believe, but so strongly that they do believe. It requires full participation on the subject\'s part. The circumstances surrounding discovery of the hypnofile, and the description of the hypnofile are all part of the \"induction\" into making believe. The description is no place for conversation, or personal narratives about yourself unless that is part of the planned induction. If a hypnotist reveals self-doubts, that will remain in the mind of everybody who tries the files, who will doubt the power of the hypnotist, unless it is deliberate misdirection intended to distracts as a slight-of-hand. It doesn\'t matter if it is your first or 1000th file, the hypnotist must hold a composure of assurance and authority and confidence to reassure the subject that what follows is safe, fun, satisfying, and accomplishes whatever you say that it will. All hypnosis, in the end, is self-hypnosis by voluntary submission to suggestions, which all shepherd the subject towards the intended state of mind. Every word in the file description is used deliberately or is edited out if it is not helping the goal. The same practice continues into the files right to the end.
